I've always wanted to understand life: My life, and life in general. I've always wanted to advance and to develop. Yes, always, I can't recall a time when I didn't. As if it was forced upon me – to get to the bottom of things, to the widthwise of connections: from the particular to the whole and back to the particular, and finally suggest the next advancing and developing stage of the existent. Progress, understanding, progress…
Nowadays, I see the profound and direct view of sensitivity, loyalty and honesty in the eyes of the young. At times, infants who have not yet begun talking: knowing, examining, developing eyes. Eyes that insist on the truth! Are these the eyes that will bring about the new age?
We got straight to the heart of the spiritual matter – not the candles, not the incents, not the gestures of Namaste, Ohm and Shalom. Straight to the heart of the matter: To the same thing, let's call it: attitude, internal purpose, a yearning that has a certain direction, that can be seen – through the eyes.
In my personal and professional life I see many people, from the inside and out. A few of them have these eyes. Maybe more than a few, hundreds, thousands… and they aren't necessarily people with spiritual appearance. You wouldn't guess that these specifically are the most spiritual people…
The eyes with the deep honesty and willingness, the devotion to improve and develop – arise and lighten up worlds in surprising places, at any age, any economic status, any profession.
For more than a decade and a half, I've been exposed, throughout the country and the world, to a tremendous variety of workshops, methods, teachers, internal and external dances, revelations of ancient energies and all kinds of theories concerning the structure of the universe and of man, from "our school" and, of course, some that are borrowed from different cultures and religions.
There are no limits to the creativity of man, and therefore the spiritual market produces more and more ideas for the redemption of man and the world. Different people have different strategies of gaining spiritual knowledge: there are those intellectuals who necessarily hurry to cover the entire book shelf: as if extensive knowledge is a condition for wisdom...
And there are those with the commitment to choose one from the other: The method or The man, and go with them to the end, even if they've failed or exhausted, as if blind devotion and self sacrifice are an expression of the highest spirituality.
So it is in my eyes: neither the extensive knowledge nor the dependence on the method or teacher will lead us to the New Age. Those same eyes, that already have sparks of light coming from the future, are at a different focus. We're talking about a powerful and innocent focus. A brave and honest focus that cannot be bent or wrinkled manipulatively, not by setting, not by flattery and high words, and not by showcases of accumulated knowledge.
Clean and intense eyes: the entire world can teach and inspire the clarification of the eyes and heart, but the essence that is seen in the eyes, man chooses for him/herself.
Eyes looking straight ahead: everyday, every moment, inside and out. Eyes that decline delusions and find out what the masc. is and what the truth is. The looking of these eyes is the arrow that marks the horizon in which we move towards.
There are no discounts in this matter. Integrity, looking for truth. Living by truth, is an enormous commitment. These must be the reason why all through history, only a few in number passed through the gates of truth. Passed through it – meaning over and over again, day after day, précising their understanding and existence until they know nothing more than to pass through it, as if it there is only one gate for them, and they cross it with every word, with every diagnosis, with every step. Until, finally, they don't know how to cheat or fake at all. These are the people of truth, the pure-eyed, the pioneers of the next era.
The meeting with the truth and the choice of it as a supreme value can sometimes disrupt your world or turn it upside down: for how many times does a man find out through conversation with themselves, with their heart or their God, that their opinions or lifestyle were not truthful. And even if we say that they were true and just – before, but now they are not. What will they do? It's not an easy discovery, which necessitates immediate change! Who has the courage and time to begin all over again…and again.
On the other hand, only change that is according to the truth means integrity, means self development.
In this not so easy situation, when we suddenly realize that it's time for change, it is easiest to choose the ostrich strategy…(that hides its head in the sand). Before we notice, the possibility for self deception, falsification, self justification, fixation, denial comes along.
Therefore, living truthfully requires self-awareness and courage. Lots of courage everyday.
Imagine that everything that is not as it seems (that displays something that isn't really what it is) would pass from this world, and things would be as they are, namely real. How would the world seem?
This reality already exists somewhere in the future. It isn't that far away. The lights coming from it are in these eyes. The eyes of The New Age.
In a world with no lies there is no need to stop living, only stop living a lie. People that promote humanity are simply found in every field: in research, politics, business, education and culture…
People who integrate well internal listening and practical initiative: people of vision in practice.
Channels of light – that's what I call them, need to self-belief and skill that goes beyond the natural self-doubt that is in all of us.
Their reward is the satisfaction, the self-development and the contribution for themselves and the environment.
When we were kids, we gazed with big and open, innocent, believing eyes. Eyes that don't hide. What adults have these eyes?
As the road goes on, more and more power and aware choice are needed in order to maintain the natural grace that is given to us in the beginning.
The second childhood – that of the adults requires inner power.
I saw something inspiring: people who really go inside and out, their eyes clearing up and becoming powerful. Just like that! Physically! It can happen to all of us!
It only requires honesty and courage. Honesty: to find out the truth – in relation to everything in our lives, and courage: to live what we discovered. These are the eyes of the New Age.
